Things to Do

Historic landmarks can easily be found in the restored gantries at Gantry Plaza State Park. Adding to the beautiful views from Maiella, this restaurant can be found on the outskirts of the state park. 
 
There’s also the famous Pepsi Cola sign. If you haven’t seen it in person, you need to! It has become an official New York City Landmark. 

Hunter’s Point South Park used to be an industrial building, but now it is a green space with basketball courts, bike walks, dog parks, and a beautiful view of the rich Manhattan skyline. Long Island City used to be filled with industrial buildings, now it offers a landmark in time with a timeless feel. Murray Park has the best dog parks and has a full turf field for watching or playing sports.
